When ViewChange called on Collective Idea to implement eCounseling.com, we were excited to undertake new challenges including integrating live chat (with code that became Tinder), SMS and 2-tier billing.

eCounseling.com, an informational resource for consumers and a place to connect with real professionals, can now provide clients in need of information or counseling with the help that they need and connect them to certified professional counselors via email, phone or text chat. eCounseling.com can accept client payments and pay experts all from one simple management interface.

eCounseling.com was written using Ruby on Rails with a MySQL backend. Payment processing is handled transparently through Paypal, and live text chat uses Campfire.
