acts_as_geocodable is a Rails plugin that makes your applications geo-aware.
After developing several “Search by zip code” sites, we saw an opportunity to extract this functionality into a plugin that would make it really simple to do add geographical functionality to other sites. acts_as_geocodable was born, and now with almost no effort we can make applications geo-aware.
