Software never stays still

A potential client was inquiring about our rates, and–like most potential clients–asked if we would be willing to do a flat rate–or fixed bid. Daniel had a great response:

We never do flat rate, because software never stays still. Software is an evolving, living being. You see one thing working, and it gives you ideas you never had. You put it in front of users, and they ask for brilliant things you never imagined.
